We have two Comic Artist-in-Residence for Angoulême International Comics and Images City this year.

61Chi

 61Chi graduated from a graduate school majoring in design. In 2007, she published her first Doujinshi illustration book and has so far published more than a dozen books at her expense.
  In 2014, her first comic work "ROOM" with Dala Publishing Company marked the beginning of her career as a professional comic artist. 61Chi still illustrates and makes graphic design on regular basis, bringing the aesthetic touches of the art and design into her works of comics and illustration.

CHEN PEI-HSIU

Born in 1986 and a graduate of National Taiwan University’s Fine Arts Program, Chen is a freelance illustrator who enjoys living with the company of her dogs and cats. Her work can be found in numerous Taiwanese children’s books, magazines, picture books, and often depict and amplify the trivial things of everyday life. She usually writes the narrative first before she illustrates. She likes an austere style using strong lines and colors, and aims to one day be able to simultaneously write with her left hand and illustrate with her right hand.
